Newcomer / Intro How do I tell a Horizons planetary port from a EDO settlement?

I keep landing at a EDO settlement, I check the map and it says landable, missions, and so on, but then I get there and it's not the regular planetary version of a star port, when you land, all you can do is get out of your ship. There are some computers if I am able to reach them that I can take missions from, but I'm looking for a more fully featured port. How do I tell from the map what I'm going to get? I've wasted alot of time looking for a base.

Basically I wanted to find a port with Front line solutions shuttles at it, near by the FLS conflicts, and I wasted alot of time landing at planetary settlments when I wanted a big base with a hangar and Concourse features

They have a slightly different icon and a totally different color

Also there are way more EDO settlements

The one's with +'s symbols are the horizon's, non landable, points of interest, where you could attack, or do SRV based missions, IIRC? From your comment based on color, I assume the one's with security, but are Orange, are the classic horizon's SRV points of interest, and the Blue On'es are for EDO? And then the Fleming Survey and Poincare Silo are the dockable ports that have outfitting and so on?

I am also wondering are there planetary ports that you can join FLS from?

Yes, the ground bases with the city like icon (or the other one that Alec showed) have services like FLS and the bio thingy
