Normally every little update shows in the Steam Update Section, but nothing for yesterday.
When Steam started the Elite Dangerous Launcher I checked from there with “update files” and after about a 30sec pause it said all files up to date. I run Horizons for now …. Buttery Smooth VR when I don’t want Flat Screen … but I got the new cut scene and my galaxy map seems changed slightly. (Ran this instance in Pancake just in case something had went wrong) HOTAS works just fine and the menus seemed ok.
Now here’s the Daft Question:
Is my Steam Horizons ver running codebase 4.0 because things seem slightly different and I’m positive I read an FD notification that the ability to run 3.8 would be released/notified in the coming weeks?
Why am I utilising Steam? Bad choice initially but seems to seamless run my Valve Headset for my VR Forays.
