Engineers How do I unlock new Engineers?

According to INARA, the unlock discover requirements for Selene Jean is to get to Grade 3 with Tod "The Blaster" McQuinn. Or at least that's what I understand...

I just got to rank 3 (with an extra 2%) with Tod. I then crafted a blueprint (Grade 1 because I'm cheap, do I need to make a grade 3?) to see if that was the problem. I still haven't "Discovered" Selene Jean.

So, am I interpreting INARA wrong? Do I now need to craft a Grade 3 Blueprint from Tod? Is INARA just plain wrong? Thanks for any help!

Try logging out and then back in. Somtimes the engineer invites are delayed. If that doesnt work then you may need to get to 33 or 34% at rank 3 with him before he gives you the invite.

You need about 30% towards to grade 4 to get engineer to unlock other engineer.

Basically you need to make 1 level 3 mod
