How do the feeding platforms work ?

I have tried using these on 3 different enclosures with different simians now and all the time I get the warning come up "arboreal feeding platform cannot be reached by keeper". If I put them on the ground they work but any height, even half a meter they cannot get filled by the keeper. The animals have been walking over the platform and the keeper walks straight past it when doing other jobs in the enclosure.

Have I misunderstood and these need to be placed at ground level ?????

How do they work? They basically don't.

OK thank you, I will just put them on the floor for the moment not a big issue. Just wanted to check it wasn't me trying to use it incorrectly.

You have to ensure the keeper can reach it by adding walkways.
Although it does not help make high feeding platforms

Thank you for confirming this, I will give it another go and I think even the ones I put barely off the ground were just on a vertical pole so the animals could get up but not the keepers which makes sense.
