How do use my multi canon

Hi,

Sorry being a bit dim. But I can not work out how to use my multi canon . I am in an eagle and have attached to my 3rd hard point.

it is assigned to fire group 2 which on my x52 is button C.

I deploy hard points and my 2 lasers work..but it only shows my laser no canon how do deploy it?

May be missing the point here but have you tried the button you have mapped to switch groups

Make sure you map your cannons on the ship weapon/hardpoint screen on the right of your hud/cockpit.

I think you're mixing up firegroup 2 with secondary fire << which is indicated by a 2

You will have to select firegroup 2 to fire it.

You can put lasers and multicannons in the 1 firegroup on separate triggers.

Each firegroup has a primary and secondary fire. This means every firegroup can actually have two weapon sets, without a need to change firegroups. For example, I have primary fire beam lasers, secondary fire multicannons, in group 1. I can switch to group 2, where I have my discovery scanner as primary fire.

Go down the list to the weapon, use space to alter between primary, secondary or no fire. Use the "navigation right" to move to a new firegroup, and space again to set primary, secondary or no fire. For those in another firegroup altogether, you'll need to note which key is bound to "change firegroups" (there's a next and previous, I just use next, as I fly small ships where only 2 firegroups are ever needed)
