How do you choose a side on foot in a ground CZ? (when there on foot already)

Hello,

I've looked and looked and cannot for the life of me find the option. (I even tried searching the forum and saw CTRL-B as an option, but that doesn't work for me).

I know you can choose a side at Frontline Solutions before you travel (if there is one) or you can do it from your ship in the comms panel or on foot you can shoot someone in the face to join "the other side".

Is there a comms panel or option to pick a side when on foot in the settlement?

I just can't see it.

There's a key it asks you to press to see the results at the end of the CZ - press that.

I have it set to 'Z' - you probably don't

Doh. Thanks. Not sure why I didn't look. Although I suppose consistency isn't a thing in Elite

Edit: actually, it is bound. So the battle stats key is the same thing. I will check it out.

You'd have been doing well to guess

I think my favourite is the keybind to open ship details in the shipyard - never would have guessed it myself - UI Nested Toggle (It defaulted to unbound for me)

Took me a few CZs to work it out.
Using a gamepad it's b<
Sat in the SRV trying to work out who's doing what to who and how badly is an experience in itself.

Yeh my bind was B < (O on the Dualsense). Although I have gradually been doing a KBM set up to give me the choice between pad and KBM depending on how I am feeling.

The pad actually works much better for the select wheels but, obviously accuracy is better with KBM.

For most of the menus in Odyssey, I use the hat switch on my joystick...
