How Do You Do Planet Zoo?

So, as the title states, how do you do Planet Zoo? Do you build zoos continuously, and finish one after the other. Do you strictly play one game mode, or do you play multiple modes at a time? Do you have multiple zoos that you work on at one time?

I'm kind of a asking this because I'm at a complete crossroads in the game. I currently have no zoos, so basically like I just bought the game, even though I've had it for 2 years and all of the DLC. I'm just sitting here thinking what the next move is. It's almost a situation where I have too much inspiration in my head, I just can't decide! But enough about me, what do y'all do in Planet Zoo?

I mostly play franchise although I have played challenge mode (this is where I also play with mods), and I have a few unfinished sandbox zoos. I feel like whenever I play sandbox I have to have a purpose other than building pretty things - I have to have management. I know there are settings where you can do that, but I also prefer the live franchise market. Also, apparently donation boxes are bugged in sandbox so that kind of ruins the whole "earn money" aspect because a lot of income comes from donations.

I have only two small finished zoos because I get bored of my projects very quickly or I watch a video and get inspired to start anew or have too many ideas and don't know how to combine them to make it all work together. I also tend to build smaller zoos. I can't focus on too many projects at once so I mostly focus on one zoo at a time. A lot of times I'll go back to my unfinished zoos in hopes I continue, but I also tend to not like what I've built. I'll like it one day and then hate it the other. My mind can be all over the place sometimes. :p

OMG yes!!! This is exactly me. I have too many ideas and when I watch a Planet Zoo YouTube video, I get inspired to scrap what I'm currently doing to start a new zoo, only to fall into same cycle over and over again. At this point, I'm considering just building a zoo with all 116 animals. I'll have to see how much it'll damage my PC before I go for it!

I can never finish zoos, because my laptop Just can't handle it and it gets too laggy before I can finish my plans. So I tend to start a lot of zoos and eventually delete them again.

I play mostly in sandbox, because then I don't have to deal with annoying pickpockets and trash in my zoo.

I play a little in franchise but I hate the animal prices on the market. They are too expensive. But I do like the community challenges.

Challenge would have been my preferred mode if only there were MORE animals available on the market... I tend to start Challenge zoos, love it at first, wonder why I don't play challenge mode more often, and then I can never get my hands on the species I keep and my habitats become empty when my animals die... This is when I usually start a sandbox zoo again.

I played all the scenarios and love them. I always aim for gold. The classic scenarios, mind you. I don't play the timed scenarios. I wish more classic scenarios would be added instead of timed scenarios.

I play 90% franchise, 8% sandbox, 2% campaign/scenario.

Franchise I enjoy because I can deal with all sorts of things and also all my zoos are connected, which is nice.

Campaign and scenario is only when I don't have much inspiration.

Sandbox is where I experiment to see what I can come up with, and currently I'm building a sandbox zoo with my brother (taking turns, I build a section, he builds another)
