How do you drop into a Low Energy FSD Wake? I target it in SC, but I can never get my speed to the sweet spot, either too fast or too slow.

Edit - just succeeded. It seems that some don't work by getting your speed in the blue zone.

you're right, it has been iffy lately on some of my targets... some lock in like a station and tell me my safe engage when both blue areas are met... other times like you mentioned it's like everything is right but you fly straight past... as if it doesn't register to the FSD that it is a target to start slowing down to... on those I haven't figured it out either... you reapproach and try even slower, same effect... it's not locked on, it doesn't give you the safe engage bue light... zip zip, fly straight through it.

Sooooo... here's my thought on that, and what I'm going to try next... I'm thinking that on the ones I am able to get the safe engage on are those I manually targeted... often when I scan wake an unfinished jumper to another system then he tries to hide there out of super cruise... no problems... easy. But I'm thinking it is the ones that I have already targeted and identified as wanted that I am trying to interdict then they drop and you try to drop to get em... so the wake was what the actual guy I had targeted before he dropped.

So... I will next time this happens go ahead and break target lock... and try to retarget manually... but really I'll be honest and confess that I am so paranoid about this issue too that I will go into your left screen to contacts tab and manually select lock from there just to make sure. I'm pretty sure either of those options will work... just need to manually target the low energy wake in lieu of it remaining targeted from a guy you were trying to interdict.

Lets report back our findings here for others with the same issue.
