Not looking back or into the future. How do you feel about Elite today?

1 - Had a relaxing flight with beautiful planets to explore.

Completed Phase 4 of the CB CG and haven't load the game since there isn't any CG this week. My friends were asking if I want to play Divinity: Original Sin 2 with them since they just bought it and I haven't even installed it since I bought it a year ago. I agreed and we are still learning the ropes.

I’m super curious what the specific hardship was about the whole console thing but at this point I suppose it doesn’t matter; I just know that if they had the time and resources, it would have happened. But other than that I’m excited and impatient for the new stuff that’s going to drop this year.

I have a fully outfitted carrier now my friend and I call home in the stars. We are presently stacking credits to keep it operational for a Good long while so as to better focus on the new content as it comes.

I've been exploring Ring Density lately. If you pay attention to the ring mass and radius, you can find rings that are much denser than average, which means less travel time between rocks and much faster mining. You might give icy rings a glance as you pass to watch for particularly dense rings as you explore, to make the process a bit faster and easier!

I feel fairly good.
I’m hoping after this latest revelation that all dev hours can now focus on one single version.
What is imminently needed is continuing content in the form of visual assets and further things to do. Plus Qol additions like the ability to pin on foot engineering schematics, and integrating horizons with odyssey properly. i.e, expanding the menus so each version can be accessed from the ship or on foot.

Right now probably 5, maybe 6.

I'm just waiting for Carrier interiors in patch 11 and have been for months now. There's a lot of stuff I 'm looking forward to being able to do after patch 11 and I'm just waiting, running out of interesting things to do. Spent the past week or so mining Platinum just because I've never really mined anything other than Tritium for fuel before. It's giving a nice feeling of progression but it's not much of a challenge & I don't need the cash for anything.

Ever tried piracy? It can be a lot of fun. Not SUPER profitable, but a nice change of pace.
