How do you get a caretaker to cover a certain path? Work Zones attached to buildings makes no sense...

I do not understand why work zones for caretakers and security are assigned to buildings and not paths. This is really a miss that other simulation games already figured out but planet zoo has missed the boat.

If I have a food court I need to be monitored I have ZERO control over telling my staff members to roam that area. Assigning them to buildings is pointless.

The way I handle it is to place at least one atm machine at each point along the paths I want the cleaner to go down .. there won't be a specific order but they will at least go down the paths you say .. as well as any other they may choose to . Or you can just pick the toilets ( seeing as they have to clean them anyway ) or a shop.

I had a similar problem with the security guy patrol area .. so I use the atm system for his route.

Agree on that. I've already posted this problem during beta and proposed to make painted work zones for caretakers and security. Attaching them to buildings does not make sense.
