I participated in one of the challenges, I finished in the top 9% apparently and got various animals as rewards. But this Steam achievement still hasn't activated. Does anyone know specifically what triggers this Steam achievement? The description of the achievement is just 'take part in a community challenge'.
How do you get the Community Steam achievement?

It was the zebra one that I participated in. But giving it another go with the AGTs yesterday I figured out the answer to this question - you get the achievement when you claim your periodic rewards (not the ones at the end of the challenge). Obviously I just never claimed anything last time, I don't even remember the button being there. I thought you just got the rewards once you had earned them and probably didn't realise you could scroll down in the window. Always glad to be the idiot who helps test how idiotproof the UI is
