How do you guys 'Double Bank' with different size SCB's?

I'm just interested how the vets out there deploy their SCB's of differing sizes per heatsink. Take the following example, either: 1) 1 x Size 7 with heatsink then a size 6 or 2) 1 x Size 6 with heatskink then a size 7? This is pertinent to further mitigation against feedback cascade rails other than positioning of ship, when deploying, in relation to the target. In your experience, what do you do and why?

Just got them linked to fire off in a wep group, no higher intelligence in the set up just pull a trigger and bosh done. Probably best if a pvp type gives you the science

You can bind a button to trigger SCBs. If you push it twice you will trigger them both. My Corvette has two 7A banks; I hit one bank and wait for the heat to rise to 95%, then punch a heatsink, wait for the heat to fall to about 30%, then hit the second bank. This avoids heat problems with only one heatsink. If you activate both together simultaneously (as would happen if they were bound in a fire group) you would probably overheat.

Ive read that three times and still dont understand the question. Ye know ye can just creat yer own binds fer scb and not have them in fire groups at all? Save switching out weapons when ye can just activate them while still firing...cant do that if yer switching between groups cos the second ye move away from the fire group, pressing the trigger could see scanners and limpets going of in the middle of a fight instead of molten lead and laser fire.

Same thing with chaff and heat sinks...means remembering lots of binds that might mean spending an hour in control settings...but so worth it in the end ^

Get a binding for SCB's and heat sinks. I use x+LB for the SCB and x+RB for heatsinks. Just pop te first one normally and when a short soon a step the temperature starts to decrease activate the second one and boom, double SCB. I have 2 7A's on my vette

Lol, I do bind one SCB with a heat sink then hot key another when temp drops. I'm just wondering if it's better to deploy the smallest SCB with heat sink then the larger SCB or the other way round. This is when dealing with feedback cascade rails.

lol,a pirate wants you to tell him how you defend yourself....its a trap!!!

Nothing to see here 😁

You use the same key for both, you just use them at a different time, now I don't know if the smaller one would go first or viceversa but it doesn't really makes much of a difference

On my Conda I bind two size 6 scbs together with a heat sink.
There is a minimal overheat for a second or two but it does not matter.
