Ship Builds & Load Outs How do you like to play?

So I sort of like the risk of open as it feels like I think it would do in a universe such as this! The risk that you're going to be interdicted makes it feel more exciting!
So you could say I like PvE and PVP although so far yet to win a fight against a human player.. So let's have a friendly debate!

generally I try to keep to myself. in about 100 hours of play I've yet to another CMDR, so all of my fights have been with NPC's. PVE is enjoyable, though after awhile you begin to recognize patterns.

I fly a shieldless T9 in open, max cargo. I'm yet to see a hostile commander (fingers crossed) but I don't really care tbh.
I've seen less than 5 players in last 2 months in open, only one was hostile but looking for PP targets.

Knowing that I have to be switched on makes the difference tho. Can't buy that.

I just stick to solo and do my own thing. I don't pvp (had my fill when playing Eve for 5 years). I do a bit of everything since my playstyle mood changes with the wind.

Open, CG's and some PP. I may drop power play soon as the model bonus is kinda moot. I like Prismatics but once you have a cutter and can trad 428t in a ship armed to the teeth, your other ships will mostly be combat or exploration builds... That don't require Prismatics.

I only play solo. I spent months of just trading and smuggling until I had enough to get myself a top spec Conda for Powerplay and PvE combat. Now that I finally have it, the charm has kinda worn off because I just feel this game lacks enough depth when you've finally achieved those personal goals you set yourself (for me, it was getting a Conda so I can feel like a proper space captain). I would do mining as that's what I did in EVE and I loved it, but I just can't handle the horrible mining system of E:D where you have to manually fire on asteroids, then fly around trying to catch the chunks of mineral that fly off. Even though it's more involved and active than automated systems, I find it significantly less fun and for me it ruins the immersion, as I can't imagine in the year 3302 you couldn't have fully automated mining systems on ships. Running those automated systems is what I find fun while being able to stand back and just watch everything happen once it's all set up and running (anyone who's played Factorio knows how satisfying automation can be).
