How do you make money from Conflict Zones.

I am enjoying the new conflict zones, the combat is reasonably challenging and flying a medium sized ship it requires some coordination and concentration (unlike bounty hunting).

How are you supposed to make money on it though? I cannot find any missions from the factions involved and the reward for destroying an elite corvette is ~60k.

avoid it threre bugged and so the war massacre missions. Just do for fun, but not in wing cause there bugged

It's just so fun to see that it's so normal to avoid some gameplay elements in Elite because they are "currently" bugged... like we totally have limitless sources of fun.

CZs work in a wing now, or at least I didn't experience any issues earlier today. As for money making, no clue, they're more about the BGS though.

There's no money in CZ's and lately, no ships either.

I usually get 2.4M for taking out a pirate lord though.

It's a shame, I used to keep my credits topped up from CZ massacre missions while working BGS.

This. They are also traditionally a good way to get your combat rank up. Not sure they've ever really been a good way to make money & in the original release (1.0) running a war was a pretty expensive passtime

They used to be profitable if you had a nice massacre mission going. Now, not so much and the bgs effects seem quite bugged. They can be good fun when they work though.

I find them to be an excellent place to train NPC pilots after you've got them past Mostly Harmless and you don't want to spend ages waiting around REZ sites.
High intensity target-rich environments are perfect for this. Also a pretty good place to test and tweak your own combat builds. Just don't expect to get rich there.
