How do you map planets ?

I know Holly would of worked this out but im stuck

i have setup the FSS & identified all the bodys in HIP 12099 but have no idear how to probe them or even enter probe mode

i can swap from combat to analasis mode

the manual in the game launcher is way way out of date

You dont probe planets from FSS Mode. You buy a DSS and bind it to a fire group. Then fire it as you would a weapon in Super Cruise.

Hmm im sure my ship had one before the patch

Yep defo did as i had been mapping some systems
Oh smeg will have to dock & replace it
