How do you record video of ED

Hi,

I see loads of Videos of ED, but i wondered how people efficiently record videos without too much impact on their graphics card.

Leaving it open ended so newbies like me can garner as much relevent info from the more experienced.

eg Record for You Tube, Streaming for that TV Stream channel..etc.. Must be many different ways of doing it...

Thoughts please!

I'm using Action! and then making vids using Windows Movie Maker. I did try Bandicam to record ED but it kept crashing ED so Action! seems to be the best for me.

I personally use Shadowplay, which comes with GTX600+ series graphics cards built into the hardware (so very little frame rate loss). It's a good way to save yourself an extra $200+ from buying a dedicated recording card.

Since none of the mentioned options are available for Mac users, I'll mention that I recently tried Screenium 3 and it looks like it will work quite well for recording ED sessions on the Mac. The only issue I had was with collecting the audio (since I have a USB audio interface and I won't install SoundFlower), but the developer was very helpful and has a version coming in the next several weeks that will address that problem.

Personally I use DXtory - works like a charm for me, loads of customisation and guides on the internet.

Well I have been streaming for long time now and before there was all these nifty tools I used xfire broadcaster but after twitch became a thing I moved to it I found that I could use capture card. so i built a super cheap pc mini board and capture is all i need So you buy cheap mobo and cheap power and capture card internal graphics card all you need then is Powerful cpu And you can stream anygameplay 0 impact Been doing this for long time 720p 60fps stream on twitch for while now. 720@ 60fps > 1080p@30 only thing i need to upgrade is capture card for 60fps 1080p Just make sure have very strong processor on the second pc can build one for roughly 500 bux on the cheap using second hand parts you can go as low as 300 bux I built mine for free basically using all my old pc hardware. from the past just had to buy the capture card.

Jus thad a go with ShadowPlay as i have an NVIDA card... works a dream and also lets me record the Microphone from my headset..

I may investigate if i need to record teamspeak in future..watched the video about it, very interesting indeed !:D
