How do you Refuel a SRV when boarded the mothership?

Hi CMDRs
Sorry I have not been able to find out how to do this since we got SRV's in Horizons.

Only able to refuel them using the materials when driving around on a planet or it gets
refueled when I go and dock at a star port or base on a planet and click on refuel.

I can't find out how to refuel a SRV from the ship sorry if I'm missing such an obvious thing
after playing ED since release. :eek:

You can't. Doesn't really make much sense to me either, making the SRVs a bit of a grind monkey game mechanic if you want to get significant use from them, especially for us explorers.

I'd rather explore world surfaces for the sake of exploring world surfaces.

Some people enjoy the frivolous nature of SRVs and a change of scenery, but I avoid their use unless it's otherwise inconvenient or impossible to do so to accomplish something specific.

What has been said is correct - SRV's do not refuel when returning to your ship.
They only refuel via synthesis or at a Station/Outpost/Installation.

They do repair when docking with your ship however.

1,000 kilometers on a ship refuel for SRVs would be much more to my liking. As it is now, it seems to me that they use fuel rock synthesis primarily for the sake of implementing use of the game mechanic.
