How do you switch firegroups?

Total newbie but love the game, ive worked out fire groups and i've set two up, 1 guns and 1 mining.

But how do i switch between them on the xbox controller?

Cant find it anywhere?

It took me AGES to work that out. The subfunctions popup a nice wee menu when you press and hold AXBY, but the base functions are hard to find.

Just to be sure I understand the firegroups well

You can have Multiple PRIMARY (RT) and SECONDARY (LT), so let's say LASER & MULTICANON respectively
AND, you can have other combination of both too?

For exemple I would like to have my weapons first and my scanners in another group, how should I set it in the firegroup menu???

Is there a video somewhere explaining these functions??

I still didn't played myself with that but I've seen you can configure them in the right panel (the one about status).
