If someone combat logged...

I'm toddling about in LHS 3447, looking for the cmdr's from the other thread who think it's amusing to blow noobs out of space, with the intention of evening the odds a little, when I come across a guy with a 115,000 cred bounty.

He's only in a DB, but for a bit of fun, I interdict him, hoping for a bit of banter...you know, 'give me 2 good reasons not to blow you into radioactive dust?' sort of thing.

Wasn't sure if I was going to shoot him or not (certainly didn't need the cash), but then he made up my mind for me, and then this happened...

(hoping not posting the actual vid bypasses the forum rules on naming... :D )

So, was it or wasn't it, and should I report him?

Looks like it. But you can't be completly sure. Might be a glitch and he jumped (unlikely), he could honetly lost connection... All you can do is report if you suspect it's exploiting, and let FD deal with it. No need to bring this to forums and flame people (specialy since you're revealing his name, accusing someone that maybe didn't do anything wrong). I guess for future incidents like that use report instead of public place such as forum ;)

he logged out by waiting 15s using the in game menu, pretty clear to me (I deal with this too much :p)

My group had someone combat log today who admitted it,
His ship froze when his shields went down ( my python and a friend vs his anaconda) and he disappeared after 30 seconds of us pounding on his ship, but my friend could still see him just frozen in place

We spotted him in SC and I called him a combat logger and he said "sigh, well if you noobs can't kill me before I combat log then you are -"

Can't put the rest in coz of swear filter, so as I can't see the video that's what a combat log looked like to us
Also my friend had him combat log twice before that, but the last time I caught it on video
