How do you use different graphics settings for VR or normal EDO?

I haven't played ED in a while especially in VR, last time I did was when I still only had Horizons.
Now I recently purchased Oddysey and I've been playing on my monitor for a while, and thats when I wanted to fly around in a ship in VR again :)

I'm using a Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop Streamer, and I have ED on Steam.

I was used to launching ED via the Virtual Desktop app on the Quest itself. It would then boot ED with (apperantly) VR-specific graphics settings; because when I would take off my headset and look at my PC, ED would be windowed whilst I normally play borderless window on my native 1440p resolution. So I'm not sure 'who' (Oculus app? virtual desktop Streamer app? Steam VR app?) is responsible for booting EDH with 'altered graphics settings', and also not sure 'what' settings exactly change other than the resolution, but I've been using it this way since ever and it always worked fine. Only downside was that everytime I would boot EDH to play on my monitor, I would have to go to Display settings and set it back to borderless fullscreen.

Now with Oddysey it doesn't seem to change any graphics settings, resulting in a very very bad FPS in VR.
I know that the VR performance of Oddysey is worse than Horizon's, but I would still guess that tuning down the resolution and some other graphics tweeks that may be beneficial for VR performance purposes could help a long way.

Is there a way I can achieve this?

I know there's Mini ED Launcher (https://github.com/rfvgyhn/min-ed-launcher) and I did fiddle around with different launch parameters but I haven't found a way yet to startup EDO/EDH with specified graphics settings.

sorry I don't own vr but I do know the walking part of odyssey is not vr instead it appears in a virtual pitch black cinema on a 2d screen
and from what I have heard a bit of a mission to set up...………………...
good luck

Ok, your setup is different from mine, and I don't play Odyssey. The latter may be very relevant - there was a similar thread a few weeks ago, where there was an indication that, with Odyssey, the following didn't work anymore, or at least not in this way.

At least when launching from Steam, the Steam Launcher lets you select to launch Horizons in either pancake or SteamVR mode. It accomplishes this by adding one (or maybe multiple) of the ED launch options to the actual .exe launch command. A short Google search turned up this VoiceAttack thread from a year ago, listing the then known launch options:

Maybe this helps you in fiddling with the Oculus launcher - good luck.
