In real lifeHi Thanks so much for all the info, really appreciate it
I was wondering what does irl stand for?
Oh lol, ThanksIn real life
Hi sorry to ask another question, but regarding intelligence in the game, can animals mourn when their mate or young ones die?I can't speak for those other games but the ai is very similar to those found in planet coaster. It's pretty much the exact same model used just tweaked to be suitable for planet zoo. Much like coaster guests need needs taking care of, they have desired places to visit and will destroy your pc if you have too many of them. For staff, we have the same kind of service , mechanics, cleaners and security. Vets and keepers are new and have somewhat complex features in comparison to say the service staff. For animals well most animals seem to behave like their irl counterparts with many climbing over barriers like big cats so better make sure you put them in suitable habitats
I wish we would get ai improvements especially the pathfinding and attention span of guests, it's a daily challenge to micromanage guest needs while taking care of animals aswell. Animal and staff ai is thankfully good enough that it does not need any sort of upgrade, you just need to know how to manage them correctly
I don't think so, animals don't seem to recognise that an animal has died and just carry on their lifes like nothing happened. Maybe some aspect of the welfare needs to drop but I have yet to notice. However zoo guests will notice and they will be unhappy if an dead animal is left in the habitatHi sorry to ask another question, but regarding intelligence in the game, can animals mourn when their mate or young ones die?
Wolves and other animals that mate for life do mourn their partner if they pass away. It doesn't really show in their behavior, but it does say so in their 'social tab'. It will say "Unable to form a new partnership because the animal is in mourning" along with a timer.I don't think so, animals don't seem to recognise that an animal has died and just carry on their lifes like nothing happened. Yeah I would, expect animal intelligence to be close to how real animals can behave. Sadly we don't have certain behaviours like herding, family groups etc but animals are still more impressive than the human ai by a big MarginWould you say overall Animal Intelligence in the game is fairly good?, and better than the humans in the game?
