CQC how does CQC work?

hey CMDR's after a little advice, how does the CQC work exactly?
by this i mean, when i try to join a game i'm sat for ages waiting for a match but nothing ever shows up, i was sat for 30 mins the other day waiting before i finally gave up.
does an event have to be on before i can join or should i be able to join at any time.

Try starting a search, and cancel it if no match is found in 3-4 minutes. I think deatmatch is the most preferred amongst players.

As Blian said.

Matchmaker is broken so if you don't see others, try to relog once in a while.

There are hours when people play and they are hours when there is nobody online. Demoghaphics of this game seems to be guys with jobs and kids so prime hours are during European evenings.

Blian meant the normal deathmatch, not the team one. Getting a team DM is rare.

I created a table where we try to get a team game. You might have a higher chance during those hours.
