How does one board the Vulture?

You don't board the Vulture. You may notice that whenever you look at the Vulture from the outside, there is no pilot inside. Food for thought.

Judging by all of the warnings on the cockpit and surrounding bulkheads regarding 'moving parts' and the fact that the entire thing looks like it swings open, I'd guess that you hold on for dear life while the entire thing swings open and the contents of your stomach attempt to escape at high velocity.

Vultures don't like flowers. But they do get friendly if you toss them some dead squirrels.

Maybe they just build the cockpit around the pilot and a crane lifts the whole thing into the rest of the ship.
