How does respawning to Fleet Carriers work?

Sorry if this has been discussed earlier, but my searches just ended up in old Beta threads.

So how does respawning to FCs work? If I dock in the black, fly away and later die, do I respawn to the carrier I last docked or back to the bubble? What if the FC has moved a lot, can I end up respawning to much further in the black than the original docking location? Can FC owner prevent the respawning by locking the carrier behind permissions? I'm pondering what kind of self-destructing potentials there are with the new FCs.

(Assuming here that the carrier isn't owned by me).

You will get the standard rebuy option to spawn back on the carrier, or you can lose your ship and take the "freewinder" back at your starting system in the bubble. I don't know what happens if the permissions change, but otherwise spawning back at the carrier works the same as with any station, except that yes, it might have moved since you last docked.

Yep, carrier moved 6kly the other day between my docking and respawning, however it's an interesting question, what happens if the FC you last docked at sets permissions up to block all player landing, do you respawn at the nearest station of the last one before the FC dock? This needs testing I think.
