How hard is mining to do now for a novice since the update?

On a scale of 1 to "Oh my god my head hurts" how complicated is it now to get into mining for a complete novice? I have never mined for a single second of my time in Elite.

I am not asking just because of the Opal boom either. It seems like decent money and it also seems like every station I go to now needs some kind of mining ship. I am seeing an enormous number of mining missions in my home system now and I am currently grinding another rank for a Cutter so I thought I would mix it up and try out something new. I also see alot of people commenting that mining is now alot more fun so I decided to take a look and it looks daunting. I looked up some builds on Reddit and a couple of guides on YouTube and its all just gibberish to me. I have never used half of the stuff they are talking about.

What ship do I need? (I own a Conda, Mamba, AspX, and a courier) How do I build it? How many credits am I gonna need to get started?

Any and all advice and/or links to new guides would be greatly appreciated.

It's actually pretty easy.

I learnt everything I needed to know from the reveal stream.

I never mined before, now it's my favorite thing to do but i only do core mining, to start you can use the aspx and you will only need 2 abrasion blasters preferably symetric mounted that way you can get two chunks from surface deposits. The other thing you need is a seismic charge launcher, one is more than enough. The other basic stuff like scanners you can learn from the video above but when wave scanning for asteroids keep holding the scanning button, that way in the end of the scan the asteroids colours kind of change and if you see black outlines or deep black you know that the asteroids has a mineable core by doing that you will know which asteroids to mine without spending prospector limpets in the other asteroids.

The next step will be to use a python for more cargo space or the krait mk2 for the most fun to mine with a little less space than the python, for either the python or krait mk2 are the perfect mining ships because you have fun mining and in 1h, 1h30 you have a full cargo ready to sell for 150/200 millions. I have tried with a type 10 and a conda but they are too massive and slow to grind for a full cargo which would take probably 3 or more hours to fill.
