I seem to have taken a bad step (or three) crossing the Formorian Frontier and the Abyss from Eishat through Puwee towards Beagle Point. Now in the Syre Thua group of systems +-2K LY from BP and still can't plot a route in the planner. I've been using boosted jumps in what I thought was the general direction of Beagle Point but on investigation seems I've been going up more than across. My Y axis reading is 579 whereas BP is something like -115.
So I am a fair bit off course.
Currently re-learning the galactic map in a effort to get down but the stars are very sparse in this area and I think I must almost be at the top. It's a pity that when the vector lines (eventually) appear while plotting individual jumps there's not some sort of colour coding to indicate you are going up (or down) rather than in the horizontal plane - green for level, blue for up, red for down.
