How I met an xbox player (playing on mac) while looking for GREBEGUS

Short story,
I saw a cmdr in supercruise, flying adder. Pledged to Aisling (EDIT: my mistake), but not responding. What the heck, this must be the one responsible for GREBEGUS merits grinding (I was looking for them).

Interdict!!

I was looking for CMDRs preparing GREBEGUS (to tell them not to) so with closed hardpoints, I politely asked what is he doing in this part of space.
No reply.
Hellooooo.
Still silence.

Then................

totally bogus. He types at first, but has to resort to turns later to answer "yes and no" nice try but no.

edit: also no for the obvious impossibility of xbox and pc/mac players to interact directly.

What do you mean, he types at first? Or do you have more screenshots to look at than this? there are two direct messages to him, the rest are in local chat. Nothing from this player that I can see.

Exactly this. Unfortunately 'Darth Ender' got a bad day at school. We forgive him ;-)

As to the topic: of course I'm NOT sure if he was a real xbox player, but definitely he understood english, while didn't type a word. Neither in supercruise, nor after interdiction.

It was really funny, you can't see it (only guess from my responses) but he responded avidly :)
He looked a little novice from ship movements, so that make me beliving his responses, but who knows.

Anyway it was ultra funny for me, to talk with a guy, using 'rotate language' :)

Not at all.. Someone already posted a Mac bug that CMDRs were showing up as NPCs when playing on a Mac

I confirm. On my mac, all cmdrs in SC don't have hollow squares on radar (as on PC), but very same as NPC.

I can attest that this creates WHOLE A LOT DIFFERENT gameplay, as you don't know at start if this is a human or a npc. I will start a new thread about it, as I think this bug actually IMPROVES gameplay (a. feeling of galaxy much more filled with humans b. being scare at first that everybody can be a deadly human pvp pirate).
