The big piece in how I think it works are the stats: Overlap and Cohabitation Cost
Essentially, Dinosaur#1 has Dinosaur#2 as a Dislike, they will not share territory at all
If Dinosaur#1 doesnt have Dinosaur#2 as a Dislike, Dinosaur#2 will increase Dinosaur#1's Overlap level by the percentage depicted in Dinosaur#2's Cohabitation Cost stat
If Dinosaur#1 has Dinosaur#2 as a Like, then Dinosaur#2 will not increase Dinosaur#1's Overlap level at all
