How is the ligthning and particle effects going to look? in RCT3 this still is bad... are there any examples show up or? options where you can create real dark area's (for ghost rides, dark castle), dark tunnels (with placed lightning effects) lightning effects: like strobe lights, thunder lightning, lights you can place freely extra on coaster tracks or to lightning buildings out particle effects: smoke, fire, water, (you can freely texture color)
 
There's been a lot of improvement on this area for games in general since RCT3 was released. Nobody knows anything specific about this yet. You've probably seen just the same footage as the rest of us. Only the devs themselves know more than us.

Ow yes there is a lot changed. It is more then ten years ago!
 
We can't know for sure, but looking at ED we can take an educated guess.

The game engine clearly can do good, realistic particle effects - so no reason to expect they wouldn't make use of that. It's actually quite an easy way of adding 'eye candy' to a game too, looks great in screenshots and doesn't really take any modelling effort like other visual assets.
