Just bought the pre-relase a few days ago but I have a questions for you long time followers. Most MMOs charge a monthly subscription or market micro transactions within the games but I don't see any plans for this with ED. I'm just curious on how they plan on funding future features, expansions, and continued development after the initial wave of cash at release. Will they be charging for expansions?
How is this game going to make money after release to fund future expansions?

Large expansions will be paid releases. EG planetry landings.

I bought the expansion pass (for £35?) before it was discontinued. I'm guessing it will be well worth it by the end!
