Part of me keeps wanting to clear save and start over, just to experience what it's like to start from the bottom, especially with the tougher AI with a Harmless rating.
But an update like Engineers has so much to offer that is quickly not becoming an option.
I find myself engaging with just about everything now. Scan every ship I see in a system, just in case there's some data I can use. Drop in to USSs to scan ships, pick up mats or fight then pick up mats. j
I find that a collection limpet is a must to make the most of encounters.
I find myself looking over missions for the parts I need for upgrading my ship.
I find that a single mission can have several diversions involved, for the previously stated reasons. And I don't mind at all.
All of these things are simply how I'm choosing to interact with the game now. I have a Clipper and I want to make it my own Millenium Falcon. It's coming along well.
But it's also not going to always be that way. Eventually, when I've used up my mats and need to start saving up, maybe I'll move into something else, go somewhere on the edge of Alliance space and try and setup up a group of planets that I'm very friendly with, take on missions to make the right friends, a place to call home.
Then, when that's done, maybe I'll have a bunch of mats and components again, and see if I can tweak my ship some more.
Point is, every day is an adventure
