I've noticed that small factions in a sector, where I'm killing wanted targets, are starting to slowly loose rep with me. I suppose this is intended, but how long can I stay in the sector bounty hunting until everyone will hate me? So far I'm still neutral to all, but I do not want to cross some point of no return...

Newcomer / Intro How long can I "Bounty hunt" in one sector before some will start to hate me?

In the system map check which factions control the stations in the area. Try not to hunt the ones that are either a system controlling faction, i.e., control the biggest station, or own some stations that you plan to go to. I just try to kill pirates, if possible - usually there is at least one faction that is clearly criminal.
Otherwise it takes some effort to get really unfriendly. I am right now at Tanmark and killed nearly 2 mil cr worth in bounties of Tanmark Posse ships. I'm now unfriendly with them.
