How Long Do You Stay At Beagle Point?

As a further update, having arrived at Ishum's Reach via Beagle Point, I actually find myself being compelled to do the minimum possible before setting back! Grand plans to FSS every system en route to Ishum's steadfastly abandoned, as really all I want to do is get home to The Bubble ASAP (without suiciding!) cash in my data and take a break from the game.
So later on today, it's back to BP, load up Spansh and hit the fast line back via the Neutrons. No scanning, no FSS, just point and go.

6 months. Arrived at end of DW2 and was sitting there until this week. Would drop in occasionally when not playing an alt and explore the planet, meet someone or just sit in the solitude looking out at the galaxy for a bit.
This week I finally left Beagle Point and am manually plotting a slow counter clockwise path towards a tiny nebula. Guess I should go on EDSM to find out it's name, but I'd rather imagine I'm the first to be going there.
I generally don't map in a system unless I'm going to map the whole thing. So I'm taking my time, getting better acquainted with the galaxy map and just enjoying the trip while my alts pursue other endeavors.
I really can't recall another game experience quite like logging into the quiet sounds of my ship way out there on the other side of the galaxy. It was late, my family had gone to bed and the house was dark. Just sat looking and listening. Wondering what the light of Sol would show me if I could have picked it out of that swarm off in the distance.

Well the Beagle is well in my rear view mirror now, going like the Flying Scotsman with around 38k LY left to Deciat. Only check the fact that FDev decided to put their permit locked region smack in the middle of the direct route to the Bubble. A small diversion took care of that, though even having read the posts about such areas it is not entirely abundantly clear what they are reserving space so far from the Bubble for, given probably less than 1% of customers venture beyond Colonia let alone 55K LY out! (Maybe it's Davie Braben's private playground?!).
