How long does it take for a dinosaur to wake up if it's sedated???

I have had this doubt since I started playing, I still remember that they commented that if I leave a sedated dinosaur he will die at some point. then every time I sleep a dinosaur I always move it quickly before something happens hahaha

1. Then, a dinosaur can die if I sedate it and do nothing?
2. How much time do you need to wake up after being sedated?

I really wish there was a timer instead on how long you have til they wake up, would give more of a sense of urgency when dealing with escaped dinos.

2. Varies - they lose health when asleep, so ones with less health won't last as well - you could try it yourself...

Seems lke they never wake up unless you transport them.... which is weird..

So if I sedate a dinosaur inside an enclosure, I need to call in a helicopter to move it 10 meters to "wake it up", so it doesn't die of thirst and hunger.

They should patch this and make them wake up after 1 minute or something like that....

It would be nice if they could be woken up either by ACU or rangers, lifting them to wake them is a strange. Would also be nice if they showed under foliage - having to flip between ACU / Map to work out where dinos are sleeping is less than optimal. As others have suggested, the ability to ask for the action 'at the dinosaur' would make things easier.
