How long does it take to travel between the Bubble and Colonia?

I did the return from Colonia in 2h 07m this morning (Asura to SD), which got me wondering what the best time between the Bubble and Colonia is (e.g. SD/Sol to Colonia)? Has this been a Buckyball Race and if so what was the best time?

I'm not convinced I had the best build approach either as I didn't bother to fit an extra 16t fuel tank like I usually do (I just unloaded my unneeded modules and headed out the door), which then required fuel diversions every 4 or so jumps... What is the best fuel tank size to jump range ratio?

Its a real pain doing the Colonia trip on xbox because typing in the next system name (from the list generated on the Spansh plotter that OP linked to) using a controller takes ages.

Shouldn't the galaxy map be able to work out the same route that the neutron plotter does? You can set it to include neutron stars but the last time I plotted it in-game, the number of jumps was loads higher.

That I can well believe! And yes, you'd think the Gal Map would have an option to plot using NSs only...

Don't you have the option on Xbone to apply filter to route?

Thanks for this figure! That is fast! From Launch Pad to Launch Pad I presume too!

While trying to find the video of St4r Fox, I found this video instead. So the new record is 1h 38m 11s.

Yes but last time I tried this it had significantly more jumps than the route plan generated by Spansh
Yeah. I just tested it on PC and it can't even find a route if only non sequence stars are selected, it's stuck forever on plotting route... (0%). If I add M-type stars to the filter, then it can find a route with 27 jumps, and Spansh can find a route with only neutron stars and 16 jumps. SMH.

Game has been out for 5 years, we really should have the ability to save routes, stored locally.
There are dozens of QoLs that really should be a 'thing' by now but Fdev don't do QoLs much! Even the ability to turn the bloody blue jump lines off in the Gal Map would be nice... which I hate btw... 😝

Select economical route plotting > select max distance route plotting > un-select max distance route plotting.

Hope that makes sense. I have a migraine atm, so logical thinking is hard.

I enjoy the lack of possible jump lines in the galaxy map. It feels more galaxy like.

And what do you do with a route that only has Neutrons? You need to refuel, too.

There is a way to copy paste from spansh to Xbox. Stream Xbox to PC and there is a pop up keyboard on PC allows to paste text. However, if doing this may as well just play it on PC. But in a pinch and when rushing home, this works.
