the game is getting very boring, i want to try 2 things i never done before, (greifing and exploring ) and jaques is the best place for it,


how long is it here to there?

The game is getting very boring, so you want to travel 22,000ly? Lol

Zero logic there.

In any case, we'd need to know your ships jump range, to give you an estimate.
But using an average of 25ly, you're looking at just under 1000 jumps.
Which roughly translates to 1,000 minutes. Which is about 16 an a half hours.

From Diaguandri: 751 jumps. Average 50 seconds per jump = 626 minutes ~ 6.5 hrs

Done in a modified Clipper with 33.8 Ly jumprange.

If you have done long range trips before and you are familiar with the fast traveling tricks it can be done under 8 hours. If you have never done long distance traveling then 8-10 hours is quit accurate. But if you see something interesting that you want to scan/take closer look on the way (earth likes/water worlds/black holes etc.), then it can take much longer than 10 hours.

Btw: my post only indicated my minimal time. In reality it took me some hrs longer because of interesting stuff to look at and scan :D

Kit out a stripped engineered ASP with a 50ly jump range, then wait until 2.2 drops to teleport your low jump range, no fuel scoop griefing ship in...

Griefing at Jaques - seems very immature. You want to do it because they are mostly explorers?. I hope you get shot down before you arrive and get sent all the way back to the bubble :D

I'll be heading that way after 2.2 drops and I can have a ship launched fighter to pass the time.

I'm almost all ready for my expedition:

- Cutter - Check (just last night, YAY!)
- Grade 5 Increased Range FSD upgrade - Check
- Lightweight mounts for weapons...in progress
- Low Emission Power Plant ...in progress
- New Paint job :( none :(

i'm always amazed how much my own perspective changes from the bubble and once a bit out. 0-10 k ly out: "another 12k to go? this takes forever... i might turn around." 11 k ly out: "hey, there is that hypergiant only 2000 ly away... let's make a detour! uh, from the bottom to the top of the core it's only 8000-9000 ly ... let's go." ...

and then, "it's only 2 weeks for the next patch to drop ... and i am 18 k ly out ... i need to turn around ... but it will take so long to get back!" (always ends up with me not firing up the game for a week, and then racing back in 3 sessions)

I get the space madness real bad. Ever since I took my hauler out a few thousand LY...I learned the true nature of my mind, and its scary. I need that Imperial Fighter to break loose the cobwebs.
