Newcomer / Intro How long is buyback available for?

When I sell parts from ship, how long will they stay in buyback mode? Can I go out into this beautiful galaxy for millions of light years and come back to buy back my parts I sold if I choose to or does it clear once I leave the station?

I think it clears when you return to menu / exit game and when you land at another station.
