How long will it take for the BGS to get back to normal?

Does anyone have any idea how long it will take for the BGS to return to a normal distribution of states?

I saw precisely two systems this evening in a state other than None. At that rate I'll be an old man before things get back to normal.

On the other hand, I am an old man already, so maybe that'll speed things up.

I have been running missions for my faction a bit each day .... getting distracted by the new scanning.

But even with a few missions stacked per run and limited time to play, I have notice SOME movement of the new sliders toward a beneficial state.

So my guess with concentrated efforts by more players a single system should be able to move into some new states within the next 2 weeks or so.

Though since each faction can now have multiple states throughout their systems it is going to take much more effort to effect the entire footprint. That will be largely dependent on player involvement and efficient allocation of available resources.

Basically, all that blabbering to say that it is still a bit early to make any logical or accurate estimations. I think once some PMF groups set to work, provide details and report back we will be in a much better position to make an assessment.

But .... if you're just looking for an off the cuff guess with no empirical evidence..... then about 8 months. :)

I don't mean to be a Richard, but if you have any experience with the bgs whatsoever, you'd know that it takes more than one tick to get it going again.
