How many Allies do you need to get Allied with the bloody Alliance?

After my six week outing I earned about 75 million credits in exploration data - all of which I spent getting allied with various Alliance stations. I got the Alioth permit quickly enough, but dang, after 75 million and well over a dozen stations thinking I'm a swell guy, I'm still just "Friendly" with the Alliance?

What gives? What special ingredient am I missing?

I find bounty hunting does get you allied with everyone very fast. I made 80 Mil out of bounty hunting so far and im allied with Alliance, federation and empire.

I am Allied with 12 in Alliance so far and still nothing.
It took 20 systems to get Allied with Empire.

It is weird. I remember getting allied with them pretty fast, but that was some time ago.

I ran a lot of missions, and did lots of bounty hunting and trading in Alliance systems, though.

Missions, do as many as you can that fit into your lifestyle.

Don't do anything naughty, even if it is their request. You will get caught.

The fastest way to become allied is to do reputation missions (ones that don't pay) for the Alioth Independents or any of the Alliance organizations. Try going to Gateway - Dublin Citadel and looking as well. It's the headquarters of our leader, Prime Minister Edmond Mahon.

I'm allied with all three states - recently I made "Allied" wit the Alliance as well.

All I was doing was turning in my Alliance Kill Warrant Scanned bounties that I was collecting in RES sites. Most were Federation (about 82-83%), followed by Empire (about 10%) and lastly, Alliance at about 7-8%).

Every once in a while I'll make a run up to the Alliance systems and drop off the bounties (same for Empire).

In total I've probably cashed in about 15-20 mil in Alliance bounties.
