How many conservation credits to aim for?

Because the game is still so new and the animal market is still stabilizing, I am trying to find some numbers here. When it comes to stashing some cash for future challenges, I am also trying to stash some conservation credits in franchise mode. I am very curious what number I should aim for and what other people are aiming for. I now have over 55000 CC. What numbers are you all handling? I am unsure if I am on the safe side of things.

I'm at 42k and I'm happy with that. I don't plan on making more than 3 habitats for any challenge.
I suppose in the challenges there will be mostly the more expensive animals which mostly only contain 2 or 3 in a habitat.
So 3 habitats x 3 animals = 9
So each new animal could cost almost 5k and this will never happen. So I guess I'm happy with my balance right now.

I had a zoo build just for the community challenge. Had about 4 enclosures for Bengal tigers. And also used it to breed some good animals I now use in my new franchise zoo. (Also less of a risk to bankrupt as I have some really good animals). Plan to use that first zoo again for any community challenges and probably get the starting animals from my ‘real’ zoo (the zoo that I play if I have that animal). And maybe even stash some good offspring there. If you get just one good breeding pair you’re often set to quickly get multiple enclosures or more cc (by selling ofspring) so I wouldn’t worry too much about saving up.

For example, if we were to get the tigers again I can easily get a golden breeding pair. They get 3 to 4 cubs, sell of 1 or 2 keep the others, buy a new breeding partner for the ofspring and repeat (only with 2 or 3 enclosures at the same time).

Either save up on cc or make sure to get a nice variety of animals.
