How many crazy Cmdr's have made the trip multiple times?

I reckon at least 15 trips to Jaques nearly all return trips too.

When Jaques was first found just over a year ago, there was a number of us making regular trips out there, bringing in supplies to try to get the utilities to open up. Nothing happened until FD started to give us CG's to allow them to come online bit by bit.
In 6 months I did regular trips there & back, sometimes exploring both ways sometimes buckyballing it. I eventually moved out all my main ships (way before ship transfer was allowed).

Then around Christmas time, sadly FD decided to turn the area into a mini-bubble & have a long running 'X factor' style popularity contest for 'rights to own systems'.

So I quit the region, returned to the bubble & when the ship transfer ability came on-line I transferred the ships that I still had docked at Jaques back to the bubble (at a total cost of well over 200mil CR!).

Since then Iv visited the area once, when I'd been to Beagle Point for the second time I went on to Jaques station before returning to the bubble again.

My days of running back & forth to Jaques are now well & truly over!

I am starting to be (slightly) concerned by the number of folks saying Colonia blows and returning!
Did about 1000 LY yesterday in this alt career. Maybe I'll knock some more out today.
And I'd be lying if, once or twice, I didn't ponder turning around. If I didn't already have a career going in the bubble I just might frankly. 15,000 LY to go.

It was always my initial intention to leave the bubble all together & re-locate in Jaques Station. I (we) found the early days quite different from bubble play, doing this & that in the hope that we could get the station activated by what we all did.
It soon became clear that what we did had zero effect on what was activated inside Jaques station, that all depended upon FD releasing a CG & if we acheived the CG then a switch was flicked & another utility came online.
This went on for about 5 month & I was quite happy to be apart of it. FD then came to decide what & how to develop the region & e-mailed leaders of player groups to ask their opinion.
What FD came up with was this ridiculous 'popularity contest' were groups containing many members (some who had never been anywhere near the area) could easily muster up enough support would easily win the contest & gain a system.
This was not how I envisaged the region to be developed, into a mini-bubble 2. So I packed up & moved out. Other players quite liked this idea, but not me.

Well, on a high note, I am basically traveling in a straight line to Colonia and I am amazed at the number of still undiscovered systems. And I also see where all the pretty screenshots are coming from.
