How Many different animations do you have for all the dinos?

I just want to know how many animations the dinosaurs have. And will we see the build up to the animation? like will we see it line up then do the animation?
 
I'm not sure what kind of response you could get for this one, it seems like every group would have a different number.

Even then, with the Stegosaurus roll anim we saw last week, that doesn't seem like it'd quite translate to the spiky armed Stegosaurs, so there's probably small variants for a couple of anims.

I do believe each species will have one unique animation to kind of seperate it from the others. That's more of a hope on my part.

To actually answer OP's question: We've been working extensively to improve dinosaur behaviours and animations so they act and re-act with greater realism. I've talked about it before in one of our Feature Focuses that the dev team has added in new animations for resting, socialising, walking, running, hunting, fighting, etc. It's difficult to say exactly how many animations the dinosaurs have overall.

I think all is good as long as they don't become redundant. Enough spice to it to keep it fresh and alive. :)
 
I saw the running dinosaur animation changes!
I highly expect the dinos to need to 'line up' a little still or be in a general area for it to start, Or where one approaches another that is standing idly like what I assumed happen with the ceolophysis one we've seen. Seems the Trike and Stego in the dev diary walked over to each other across quite a distance but that could also just be camera and edit cut tricks. What I'd love to see is everything from before an animation interaction starts, and straight through unedited/no cuts to after it ends.
Going to be interesting to spot them all, as I highly doubt we'll see all animation interactions, they'll keep it under lock and key til release xD
If its an issue, all answers will be given and shown first day of release as gamers get to see stuff without the fancy camera cuts and edits. I'm impatiently waiting to see more since that dev diary.
 
i Do agree, i wish we get an uncut video of the dinosaurs lining up to fight or hunt. but even if they do line up and we see the line up it is in its alpha stage sooo..... idk
