How many factions are you allied with?

The upcoming Engineers release has me wondering how many minor factions players have allied themselves with.

I can name just over two dozen (including those in my sig)

Hmm I am not sure - never kept track. My guess would be maybe 10-20.

Is there a way to see this in game do you know?

I would say that i am allied with many factions because i like to go take mission, complete it and take next mission from there and that way go around in small area for some time and then move some where else and minor faction rep doesn't decrease. Also i am 100% with both Empire and Federation does it still mean that I am allied with all minor factions part of them?

Am allied with the three major factions so allied with all their alligned minor factions.
Allied with all permit granting factions and some independent factions in their systems.
Some independent factios in systems where I stayed a little longer.
I'll vote 31-60.

Don't know. I know I've worked for a few permits so >5, plus a few factions I've deliberately supported. Flying around I've noticed I'm allied with a few factions (probably down to trading/bounty hunting/BB missions) that I made no specific effort to align with. It doesn't help that fed/imp/alliance rating also applies to any aligned factions too, so even if I was trying to keep track it would get confusing...

I hadn't really thought the question through properly, but I didn't really mean factions you become allied to by virtue of being allied with one of the three major factions. Because if you let your Fed, Imp or Alliance reputation slip for a while, you soon find out who your true friends are.
I've got nearly all the permit systems, several through rare goods trading or from various mining bases.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any way of easily finding out which factions you are allied with. It would be a handy thing to know.

I vote for an option: "I have no slightest clue". Some I've worked to allied status to gain various system permits, some I find having become allied over time even without trying (like, went to get Alioth permit and to my surprise found myself already allied with the permit giving faction (I'm just neutral with Alliance itself, however)).

So... the number is certainly bigger than 15 at the moment; but just how much bigger a number - no idea.

Probably none by now, when I left the bubble 3 months ago it was around 15-20. But reputation decay means I'm now just "friendly".

To be honest I haven't a clue, more than one , but the major factions complicate things. At the very least I'm friendly with all the major powers and with a little effort could get allied with them if I happened to be in regions under their control

maybe I should have added "I have no idea" as an option to the poll. Problem is that it would be the only option that anyone would vote.
Except you don't become allied with a minor factin by accident. You have to do a fair number of missions, or trade/bounty hunt over 7 million to a station.
A decent effort at a CG will likely get you allied with the controlling faction.

Anyone who has sat at Tun for more than five minutes is likely to be allied to all the factions there.
