How many missions between Naval Ascension Missions?

Hi folks...

I'm just wondering... how many missions do you usually have to do before you get a Naval Ascension mission. I've completed the mission that got me to Outsider but after another 10 missions or so, I haven't seen anything.

Do you have to do missions of a certain type?

Am I doing something wrong?

I had this issue for a while and suddenly had huge number of them come in quick succession. One thing that 'appeared' to help was running missins in different stations rather than tryng to grind them out of the same one.

I agree, that seems to help, mostly because you grind several factions at the same time. Also, don't bother doing missions for a faction that is already 'allied' with you, it won't bring you any or very few reputation. So change rather frequently.

Each mission seems to require more than the last. My final rank took about a hundred normal missions.
