I read the forums most days, and I look down at my HOTAS but always pick it up to play . I was wondering who else is feeling a little upbeat and happy by what we have so far? I still have high hopes for the game and think that they will make it much better this year.

To all you that are feeling like I do, remain hopeful. The clock is ticking and it's great!!

I'm definitely more optimistic since 1.2 has landed. It's a genuinely excellent update and one that was much needed. There's still some way to go until the core of the game is what I would call "Near perfect", but 1.1 and 1.2 have definitely been steps in the right direction.

Of course? Why wouldn't I? Its only getting better and better, with the Wings update its been the most stable for me and the most fun playing with friends. I swear people only buy MMOs sometimes just to whinge about them on the official forums...

Its a great game, still far from a masterpiece for me (to be somewhat critical & honest), but really I don't mind. FD are bringing things along nicely and regularly updating things in the right direction. I havent got bored yet, but I didn't jump start my ED career with trading tools and the like. I'm doing it the hard way lol so much more gaming ahead!

I just need to perform some surgery on my x55 soon, to fix a yaw axis issue... I MUST have all of my 6AOF back.

I may not pick it up some days, but it's simply because I must put my real-world bank account before my CMDR's account in Zaonce... else I wouldn't be able to play at all.... and that just wouldn't do. O.O
