Havent bought ED yet as I want to know what sort of licence I'll be buying. If I buy this will I be able t install it on my laptop AND desktop or will I need to purchase it twice? Cheers.

I have 2 machines, its installed on both of them
You allowed unlimited downloads and installs, but playing/running it is all based on your login details
Having 2 instances of the game open using the same login details will not work.

You can install multiple times but your credentials only give you one commander slot to use, which would be shared.

Ah I see, excellent! Not bothered about having multiple games (commanders) on the go anyway. So in a sense, both computers would be sharing the same,single game data?

Yes, same game.

There is only one save slot.

The only annoying issue with this is, that you have your machine validated via email code. When you open the game on another computer, new code will be send to you and you will have to validate it again. This will happen every time you change computers.
