Greetings Cmdrs. I have been playing just over 1 year now and am curious as to how many people are playing this game in total ? In total I mean PS4, XBox and PC. Is it about 4 million ? I guess a lot give up after 1 week cos it is very technical and time consuming. I'm just trying to get a sense of the scale of this game and what is the population of real players here. I love this game. Fly safe. o7

Somebody's gonna bring them up sooner or later.
It's just always interesting to see whether they bring them up for showing the high numbers or low numbers. They can of course be used to support both sides of the argument as they are inherently useless.

I recently mentioned the steep decline in Steam numbers as cause for concern and it was met with the usual bile and hostility from people who shout fake news at evidence they dislike (presumably the concept of analysis using a population sample was too difficult to grasp as well). All things considered im amazed that they are getting the numbers back up on the steam charts. Especially for a game that is rated "mixed" Alot of rather suspect reviews there aswell. Low total hours and 0 hours in last week kind of thing and yet reviewing the game just recently. Something dont smell quite right with that.
When you say it like that it does sound a little out of the ordinary, however, what surprised me is how ED has double the active users than EVE does currently (on Steam)
I used to play EVE like a Jet-addict but i stopped playing in 2006 for good.
The more SC gets panned in YouTube, the more free advertising ED gets from the comments section in each video.
