How many pilots have grounded themselves due to UC issue

You have data to sell but crash wont let you. Are you still flying?

Firstly as I'm out on an exploration run that won't see me back in populated space for maybe a couple of weeks, the inability to sell my data right now is of no consequence at all. I'm 100% certain any such widespread issues will be resolved very quickly.

Secondly, I wasn't even aware of an issue to begin with, so no way would it affect my decision to fly.

My ship is grounded 'till the bug is gone. I have about 270 systems to sell, at ~450k a page, you do the math.

I find a little ridiculous that in 2015 we have 128gb memory cards as small as a pinky nail and in 3301 they can't take the data with them if/when the ship explodes. But maybe I'm roleplaying a little too much here :D

The FDL ships have a USB port on the keyboard on the right don't they?....
On the flip side the escape pod in the art was just you your remlock and a one use engine to get you to a station so maybe it isnt feasable to be fumbling with backing up as the ship's power plant mimics a sun

And yet you don't lose your money when you die and that magically appears in every station you visit, regardless of faction...

Not roleplaying enough. It's DRM.

Note the way you can only sell your data once, and the fact that you can sell data on systems other people have already explored. The data in question has some really nasty DRM built into it, preventing it from existing anywhere but the ship's memory or the UC database (possibly to protect the explorer as much as the economy - if data survived ship destruction, pirates could prey on explorers far from safe systems and acquire digital riches without even needing a cargo bay).

Voted "Yes" because I'm still flying, but I'm on my way back from a 3,800-ish Ly radius trip so, by the time I actually get to somewhere that I want to sell my data it'll either be fixed or I'll stop then.
