I've been to two fleet carriers that I do not own. Both have an operating shipyard.
On one of them, the Max figure shown under the ship image in the "Stored ships" view of the shipyards says "Max: 10".
On the other, it says "Max: 40". This isn't a carrier that I own.
What causes the maximum to vary? The only difference I can see is that I asked for a load of ships (maybe 18?) to be moved to my current location when I was in the second carrier, that has Max: 40. I didn't see what it was before I summoned the ships, which are still on their way.
