How many Ships do you have fully engineered?

Now that it's so easy for PC Cmdr's to engineer ships with mats being so easy to get, how many ships have we got completed the old fashioned way on Console?

I always see lots of Xbox Cmdr's at Shinrarta when I'm completing a few more ships, do people have multiples or is it just one and done of a particular ship?

i wouldn't call any of my ships completely engineered. but, those listed below are heavily engineered to fit my needs.

Corvette---PVE Conflict Zones
Cutter---armored hauler
Anaconda---PVE merchant marine
Type-10---PVE universal miner
Type-9---PVE inter-system trader
Type-9---unshielded intra-system trader, port to FC
FAS---PVP and PVE bounty hunter
FAS---Thargoid hunter
Gunship---PVE dakka gunboat
FDL---PVP and PVE bounty hunter
Python---PVE small port trader
Python---unshielded trader, small port to FC
Krait MKII---small port trader and salvage ship, both legal and illegal
Krait Phantom---built for mining currently
Type-7---laser miner
Courier---courier missions and emissions collector
Type-6---small port trader, still one of my favorite ships
Asp---explorer, not used much anymore
DBX----explorer and bubble jumper, just a fun ship to flit around in

i think that's all the engineered ships i have. everyone has at a minimum, dirty drives, extended jump range, and some hull mods. i'm too lazy to dive in any deeper into what they all have.

I don't own many ships compared to the 2000+ hrs I played but every ship I own is fully engineered. Those are in no particular order:

  • Python, my favourite built, the "Jack of all trades, master of none but I could play the entire game only with this ship" (Can jump 45 Ly, has an SRV, does decent PvE combat, is suitable for laser mining and ok for anything but bulk cargo missions, with a capacity of 128t)
  • Type 9 cargo/laser mining built
  • Federal Assault Ship optimized for Conflict Zone PvE
  • Federal Corvette just an ultimate PvE combat built with huge Multicannons
  • Federal Gunship built for HazRES PvE with Fighter and as a Platform for meme-ey weapon loadouts
  • Federal Dropship combat built for Flight Assist on/off artistic maneuvering fun
  • Vulture Multicannon/Beam Laser
  • Eagle mk iii with one overcharged Beam Laser for stripping shields and then fixed Missiles to harass Anacondas in HazRES
  • Cobra mk iii built as a cozy small exploration ship

Sadly the lack of new content eventually made me stop playing about a year ago. My carrier already got decommissioned because I didn't pay attention... 😅

I've just passed 160 ships, all fully engineered for their respective tasks.
My PC transfer has 56 ships so it's doubtful I'll ever stop playing the Console version from now on. I don't think I want to lose over 100 ships to play on PC.

Corvette pve
Corvette miner
Cutter armed trader
Fdl murder hobo build
Clipper explorer
Asp x explorer
Krait phantom explorer
Viper MK4 explorer
Orca explorer
Beluga explorer
Python passenger
Python armed trader
Python unarmed trader ( long range)
Python miner
Courier sneaky stuff
Cobra MK3 fun combat flier
All are G5 engineered
I have an Annie ( useless but have Paintjobs for it )
Type 10 not sure what I want to do with it yet ...
But most of these were engineered before the split
The viper is my newest one because why not ??

Type 10 Defender makes a surprisingly effective combat ship, especially with old school turrets on its upper hardpoints.
It's only marginally slower for completing CZ's compared to well engineered 'Vette.
